Terms of Service

Welcome to RapiGo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RapiGo web application, progressive web app, APIs, and on-demand mobility matching services operated by RapiGo Mobility Technologies Ltd. ("RapiGo", "we", "us", or "our").

1. The RapiGo Platform Model

RapiGo operates as an urban digital aggregator platform connecting registered passengers ("Riders") with independent verified third-party transport operators ("Captains"). RapiGo does not own or operate passenger vehicles. Captains operate independently under valid commercial permits and driving licenses.

2. Eligibility & Account Security

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a Rider or Captain.
• Users must provide an authentic, active 10-digit Indian mobile number for verification.
• Captains must hold a valid Indian Driving License (DL) issued by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), a registered vehicle with commercial or state-permissible permits, and mandatory vehicle insurance.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any trip actions initiated under your session.

3. Boarding OTP & Duty Protocol

To ensure passenger safety and prevent mistaken boarding, every ride generated by the RapiGo platform is assigned a 4-digit One-Time Password (OTP). Trip telemetry and fare metering initiate only when the Rider physically provides this OTP to the Captain and the Captain enters it into their console. Captains must explicitly verify their safety gear (helmet check) before toggling duty availability.

4. Fare Calculation, Surge & Pass Model

• Fares: Fares are computed transparently based on base rate, estimated travel distance (calculated via high-precision routing APIs), dynamic traffic congestion time, and applicable platform/regulatory charges.
• Surge Pricing: During peak commute hours, inclement weather, or supply deficit, dynamic surge multipliers may apply as indicated before ride confirmation.
• 0% Commission Captain Passes: Captains operating with an active Unlimited Daily, 3-Day, or Weekly Pass receive 100% of the customer trip fare credited directly to their earnings wallet. Standard commission rates apply when operating without an active pass.

5. Passenger Safety & Emergency SOS (112)

The RapiGo platform includes emergency SOS functionality connecting directly to the national emergency service (112) and RapiGo Central Operations Command. Abuse or frivolous activation of emergency SOS features is strictly prohibited and subject to account suspension and referral to cyber law enforcement.

6. Cancellation & Driver No-Show

Riders may cancel rides free of charge within 2 minutes of Captain assignment. Cancellation fees apply thereafter to compensate the driver for fuel and travel time as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
