In any distress situation, tapping the in-app SOS button initiates an emergency incident protocol. Your real-time GPS telemetry, driver identity, vehicle registration number, and live route coordinates are dispatched immediately to police authorities and the 24x7 RapiGo Incident Response Desk.

1. 4-Digit Boarding OTP Authentication

Drivers cannot start a trip until the passenger physically confirms their boarding identity by providing a unique 4-digit OTP. This cryptographic check ensures passengers never board the wrong vehicle or enter an unmonitored ride.

2. Daily Pre-Shift Safety Verification

Before any Captain can toggle their duty status to "Online", they must complete an explicit safety verification checklist confirming:

Wearing an ISI-certified safety helmet.
Carrying a sanitized spare helmet for the passenger (Bike Taxi).
Inspection of vehicle mirrors, headlight, taillight, and braking systems.

3. 100% KYC & Driver Background Screening

All Captain onboarding involves multi-tier credential verification:

Driving license validity cross-referenced with central Parivahan Sarathi registries.
Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) and active third-party vehicular insurance.
Continuous customer feedback and rating monitoring, with automated suspension triggers for safety non-compliance.

4. ₹5 Lakh Accident Insurance Coverage

Every active ride completed through the RapiGo platform includes complimentary personal accident insurance cover up to ₹5,00,000 underwritten by certified partner general insurance providers per MoRTH aggregator guidelines. Coverage applies automatically from the moment boarding OTP is validated until the trip is marked completed.

5. Real-Time Trip Sharing & Geofencing

Passengers can share live web tracking links with friends or family via WhatsApp, SMS, or web link. The recipient can monitor the vehicle's position, ETA, and driver information on live Ola Maps without downloading any application.
